Went to newly opened Sakunthala Food Palace Restaurant down Race Course Road with few of my colleagues for lunch today...
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to our always so generous deputy manager , Mr Lim for the Hari Raya Treat...

We went to Breeks at Causeway Point for breaking of fast yesterday...
Food was MARVELLICIOUS... yummy... will definitely go for 2nd trip there...

mine : Beef Lasagne.. sauce.. ooohhhh....

hun's having Hotplate Salmon something... tried bits of it.. nice...

auni's having Ice Cream Brownie... it's hers but after finishing our own plate.. we attack hers..

Almost, everyone that i knew, almost, asked me the same question...
it will start like: how many kids do u have? n i answered one.. then they'll say, how old? i said going on 3.. then they magic-sure come out question... have more lah...??? aik... easier said than done rite... i would just nod off with a smile...:)

had this conversation wif my girl in the car while driving back home...

me: auni, do u want sister or brother?

auni: huh?

me: u want baby?

auni: (talk to her pooh bear beside her) u want baby?
mummy, pooh bear says don want...

me: how about u?

auni: don want also...

feeling down since last evening... at times, when i do things, i will always consider other ppl's feeling.. i always measure up my action with their reaction... juz do not want to hurt others.. but it seems like, these days, i should'nt have to think of others.. juz do whatever i want.. no need to consider.. its not worth it.. really NOT WORTH IT!!! here i am trying my best to cater to their feelings n there they go breaking my heart...
is this what world is today?..
well hun, its not bed of roses isn't it.. sorry to have pull u to be as sad as i am.. what a world.. let them live their live, WE LIVE OUR OWN LIVE..

went to geylang serai last saturday wif hun n baby pooh... its the feeling that, we got to go to geylang for the 'feel' of Ramadan. But upon reaching there.. the next sentence was.. 'i should'nt be here!' contradicting isn't it? whatever...

we went shopping for baby pooh's n my baju raya... hun wants to wear the previous years black suit... since i don have any black suit, then i have to get one... i know.. don't have to be the same colour.. but, i won't feel like raya, if we are not wearing the same tone.. anyways.. got mine.. a simple black pant suit sort of kebaya with a string of diamonds at the front...

can't find baby pooh's suit though... seems like have to make second trip there again.. its not actually can't find.. we are running out of time.. want to reach home in time for asar prayer... before going back.. we manage to buy food for our breaking of fast.. i bought special beef burger, a cheese hotdog for auni, hotdog sandwich for hun... DENGDENG for us... then i saw apam balik.. the one with sugar n peanuts all over.. oh boy.. droolling... the maker was really an anti climax.. so damn slow... but what the heck.. wants it so got ot wait for it.. then i realise, there's this lady with veil on behind him.. seems like the helper of the stall.. happily eating away.. huh? hun says relaxs je makan... dahlah stall tu ramai org beli makan.. dia lak sedap sodok kat dalam... i noe, maybe she can't puasa.. but so.. takkan makan kat depan org? hormatlah sikit bulan puasa... rase menyesal gak beli kat kedai dia... bila time buka.. i makanlah apam tu.. ya ALLAH... lagik menyesal beli.. takde taste langsung.. sugar n peanut pun tak rase... buang karen babe beli.. haiizzz...

my dearest colleague, Bee Hua bought this Barney Lantern with music n light for my baby pooh... oh boy how she lurve it..
she ask: "saper belikan ni?"
me: "work fren mummy, aunty bee hua..."
she: "oohh.. thank you aunty bee hua... i loooooovvvvveee Barney!!"

in school...
her school celebrating the coming Lantern festival, so the art work was making lantern...

my girl made this... she made the painting n i guess her teachers help fixing them up to be a lantern.. great job Auni!!

aduhai... ngantuknya mata... takleh angkatzz... lagu lagu kat windows media nie lak ngah rolling lagu lagu slow... wei... ngantuk ah... tadi kat kete sempat lelap jap.. kesian hun.. takde yang nak melayan chatting.. si baby pooh lak... ngah buat kueh sambil tengok PSP... bila buka mata je dah sampai kat school dia.. eh, bantal aku mane nie... bos lum datang lagik nie, lepaks kejap pun cantik ah...
huney asked me a question last nite... a yearly routine question... raya nak pakai baju ape eh? masa org tanya sebelum puasa dia cakap relaks ah... sekarang kelam kabuts...
asked my regular tailor, she says.. malam raya lu angkat ah... ?? malam raya? bila nak cuci baju tu? so scrap nama tailor nie... tanya my huney aunty lak.. 'i takut tak sempat, ada baju many many..' takpelah.. i yang call dia last minute... lastly huney cakap, kita beli dah siap nya sudah... mcm rasa mahal lak.. kalau boleh i nak sepasang ngan si baby pooh tu... that means.. kebaya or baju kurung ah.. tapi mass product selalu takde personal touch ah... i tiap tiap tahun camni... puasa je pikiran... penatkan... ah nanti leh pikirkan ah... eh, bantal aku.. nak tido ap ah.. 5 min je...

fuhh... manage to settle 2 on hand jobs... feel really good even though got few more others to finish up... at least my in tray is moving...

baby pooh is getting better as days goes.. been 7 months since i've send her to childcare.. she's adapting very well... the first 2 months was disaster... there's even time when i regret sending her to school... but all turns well now... no more crankiness.. she manage to pick up english... could understand & converse in english... i'm not taking the credit coz i did not teach her the words... thanks to the teachers at KKH Learning Vision... she have table manners too... n we don't have problem wif her when going to restaurant...

we are now in the month of Ramadhan (fasting)..

daily routine -

4:30 am, prepare food for me n hun for our predawn meal..

Alhamdulilah my huney wasn't a fussy eater... he could settle

down wif rice, fried chicken / egg / hotdog & soya sauce...

AJHK dear.. for ur understanding....

5:30 am, prepare myself for the morning prayer, get ready to

work.. then wake baby pooh up to change into her uniform..

( i don't bath her in the morning... kesian lak tengok.. takpe, kat

sekolah nanti teacher mandikan)

7:00 am, out from home... send baby pooh to school, then off to

work... school to work - only 5 mins walk...

5:30 pm, knock off from work... fetch baby pooh from school then

we off to my mum's place for breaking of fast meal...

8:00 pm, get ready for terawih prayer...

9:00 pm, off to mosque for religious study....

10:00 pm, class finish, go back home...

11:40 pm, do the housework, prepare baby pooh school bag....

12 midnight , doze off....

Seems tiring, I can manage so far.. enjoying my first Ramadhan wif my baby pooh & huney in our own home... used to stay wif my mum, dad, sis, bro in law, & 3 kids... used to the noisy environment.. while at home.. it seems so quiet... but it's ok... there's always a first time to everything... enjoy while u still can...

my all time favourite things.... at last got my OWN laptop... hun got himself one before me... way before me... not that i don like to share... its easy to have ur own... n bring it anywhere u wanna go... that camera... i bought it juz in time my old camera gone kapukz.. its few years now... seems like need to have it change.. hehehe... hun will surely shake his head... n PSP... did'nt think of buying it at first... bought it around may this year... it goes like this... hun was scheduled for his 2 weeks in camp... i got to go to work by my own.. so have to take the bus... & i don't want my baby pooh to miss her school, so have to send her to school before going to work... so the thought of making my girl to take bus troubled me... then when saw my darling niece & nephew's PSP.. I borrowed it for my first day of bus trip... my baby pooh like it so much... the whole bus trip she busy watching the mr bean, hi-5 that my sis had save it in.. so, during lunch time, I went to Mustafa centre to get her one... $399 plus 4 gb memory card w/o modification... can get cheaper outside plus modification.. haizz.. takpe lah... when fetching my girl from school, her teacher told me that HMFD is breaking out in school, so if conveniece, don't send my girl to school... so the next day, i got my nanny to help me take care of her... Cik Salmah.. u are such a GREAT HELP!!! appreciate it alot!!
So the PSP, now belongs to mummy for the rest of the 2 weeks.. impulse buying! but not all lost.. till now my girl still play with the PSP... its worth buying especially when i see my girl's excitement lit up face... :)
